Mixed Media sculptures with Carol Whitescarver and Sharon Kyle
Join us for a unique workshop at the Tucson Botanical Gardens, where your tuition includes a delicious lunch from the café and complimentary admission to the Gardens.
In this class, you'll explore the art of creating mixed media three-dimensional pieces, each reflecting on the concept of "home." Using found objects, wood, wire, paper, and a diverse array of materials, we'll delve into what it means to create a new home, the deep longing for home, and the powerful memories that make us feel truly “Home at Last.”
“Using Archetypal figures, we can enter the realm of imagination and fantasy; we can see vast possibilities; we can see solutions, create a place of peace and happiness where we can speak our truth without words, and play can help us come home.” Carol Whitescarver
“You’ll explore a treasure trove of materials and leave with a unique piece of art that will evoke conversation with friends and family for years to come. Everyone leaves the class happy…” Sharon Kyle
